Congratulations Celina Dunfield! MAHTA's 2014 AHT of the Year!

February 22, 2014

Celina was nominated by her employer Dr. Roxane Neufeld of the Dauphin Vet Clinic but was unable to attend the AGM in February to accept her award as there was an event that weekend for the Parkland Humane Society, which Celina is the president of.

Dr. Neufeld's nomination of Celina reads:

She is my full time tech and could not function without her. She works for me at the Dauphin Vet Clinic 5 days a week and alternate Saturday’s. On top of her full-time paid job, this past year she has also been the president of the Parkland Humane Society, through the building of the shelter and grand opening, organizing many of the programs available through the shelter, fielding questions from the public and volunteers for the Humane Society. Through all the business, she continues to provide great care to our patients, ensuring they are cared for properly. Celina is also willing to come in afterhours to help with cases if needed. Celina has also taken on a role advocating for animal welfare as an Animal Protection Officer, as if she is not busy enough. I truly believe Celina is worthy of the nomination.

Congratulations Celina!  Thank you for being an amazing AHT!
