Management of the Breeding Bitch

In this second lecture from Dr. Jeanine Woods, she will be examining the role of the Brood Bitch in the breeding process, including available tests and potential problems.

LOCATION: Education Room, Winnipeg Humane Society (WHS), 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg. Doors open 6:15pm, refreshments available, lecture 7pm-8pm followed by questions, discussions. The evening will finish before 9pm. The front doors are locked at 7pm - please arrive BEFORE 6:50!

Dr. Woods is a member of the MVMA, the Society for Theriogenology (international) (SFT) and has been a presenter or co-presenter of 7 lectures at the SFT annual meetings. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenology which means that she is Board Certified in Animal Reproduction. She has owned and bred Samoyeds since 1972 under the Winterpeg prefix. Winterpeg Samoyeds have won multi BISS and Group placements at AKC and CKC approved shows as well as two ROMP’s, 8 WSXM’s and 2 Versatile Samoyed titles from the Samoyed Club of America (SCA). A dog that she co-bred was the first “Versatile Samoyed” in the history of the SCA.

Dr. Woods has once again graciously donated her time for this lecture so that all of the proceeds can be sent to the Canadian National Australian Shepherd Association (CNASA) for the 2014 CNASA Nationals to be held in Thunder Bay, ON (Tanya Wheeler host chair).
